The vascular surgery superspecialist of Shahrekord Ayatollah Kashani Hospital announced the successful operation of extensive injury to the trachea (airway) inside the chest for the first time in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.

Dr. Babak Alavi pointed out that last week a 16-year-old teenager was referred to the Shahrekord Ayatollah Kashani Medical Center by the 115 medical emergency team due to injury and rupture near the aorta, and added: After the initial measures to revive, this teenager was quickly transferred to the operating room of the center.

He said: This sensitive operation was performed for the first time in the province at Ayatollah Kashani Hospital in Shahrekord, and now the general condition of this 16-year-old teenager is stable and he is admitted to the male surgery department of the hospital.

Dr. Alavi added: To perform this surgery, the chest of the injured person was opened.

According to him, this successful surgery, with the cooperation of the experienced medical team of Dr. Shakerian, a heart surgery superspecialist, and Dr. Abedinzadeh, an anesthesiologist, and with the efforts of the hardworking staff of the emergency room and operating room, saved the teenager's life.
