The chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences and Health Services of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province congratulated the activists of the field of medicine on the arrival of November 8th, the World Radiology Day.

Prof. Arsalan Khaledi Far's message states: November 8th, the anniversary of the discovery of X-rays by the German scientist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, has been named World Radiology Day. This day is an excuse to appreciate and respect the immeasurable services of radiographers and radiologists in diagnosing and alleviating human ailments and supporting human life and health in the health system.

He added: There is no doubt that with this discovery, a new window was opened to the world of medical knowledge, and in a short time, its capabilities in helping medical diagnoses and treating patients were revealed to everyone. Today, X-ray imaging is considered an integral part of medical science.

Prof. Khaledi Far continued: In the 13th government, to increase the provision of services to the noble people of the province, the necessary infrastructure was prepared and several medical imaging equipment were purchased, installed, and operated.

In the end, while congratulating the World Radiology Day, he appreciated and thanked the sincere efforts of the valuable colleagues of radiographers, including professors, staff, students, and activists in this field, and prayed to God for their health and increasing success.
