The vice-chancellor of treatment of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari University of Medical Sciences and Health Services said: For the first time in the province, a permit for the admission of international patients in the International Patient Department (IPD) and operation of this department was issued.

Explaining this news by honoring the blessed Fajr Decade and the achievements of the Islamic revolution of Iran in the field of treatment in the province, Dr. Ali Mokhtari stated: For the first time in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, the head of the Center for Monitoring and Accreditation of Medical Affairs of the Ministry of Health issued permission to admit international patients in the International Patient Department (IPD) and operation of this department in the province.

He added: This certificate was issued based on the final evaluation and audit results for Shahrekord Ayatollah Kashani Medical Education Center for two years.

Dr. Mokhtari also said: In this regard, a memorandum of cooperation has been concluded with health tourism companies to attract international patients in various specialties, including transplants, cosmetic surgeries, LASIK eye surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and the like.
