In line with the plans made to improve the rank of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences in the international ranking systems and to collect, translate, and upload information and documents in the relevant time frame in 2023, which was done by the experts of the books and publications office of the Deputy of Research and Technology of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences, according to the latest ranking report of young universities (Young University Rankings 2024) in the Times international ranking database, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences was ranked 300-350 among the world's young universities. Also, Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences was ranked 1000-1500 among universities worldwide and ranked 17th among Iranian universities in the first year of applying for University Impact Rankings 2024.

A meeting was held between Mr. Tamaki Tsukada, the ambassador of Japan, and Dr. Mikiko Senga, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), with the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Governor's Coordination Vice-chancellor of Economic Affairs, the representative of the people of Shahrekord, Ben, Saman, and Farrokhshahr Counties, and a group of members of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences' Board of Directors.

With the presence of the Minister's Coordination Vice-chancellor for Economic Affairs and Regional Development, Dr. Mohsen Kosheshtabar, the first Health Science and Technology Park in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province was established and unveiled.

The Chancellor of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences, Professor Mohammad Hossein Aarabi, visited the registration of new postgraduate international students from Iraq in the Rahmatieh Education Complex.
